already a month...

...since my last post.

So many things happen and between all the stress I try to find time to relax.

I hade a few job interviews and at the moment I talk with two companies about worktime, salary and all that stuff.
No contracts are signed yet but hopefully I will be able to sign one.

Now we have a ll the papers to aply for a flat in Berlin. You need lots of stuff when you have no income and try to find a flat.
Thankfully mr. artistics sis (who is a doctor) is vouching for us. Hopefully it will help us to find a flat.
Sadly the rent in Berlin is my higher and my salary will be pretty low so our new apartment will be much smaller than this one.
I have no idea where to store all my stuff.

In june is the Blythecon Europe and I already paid for my stall there .
But right now I don't see any hope to make it.
My car broke and I won't be able to fix it.
I have to buy a new one.
And all this happens when I have to pay tons of money for the move and the new flat.

Last week we had a little party on the other side of the street.

Under the sea was the theme this time. I bought an old vintage wedding dress and dyed it in different shades of blue.

My hubby was so kind to color my hair with whatercolor in different shades of blue.
I made a fun and quick fish headband to match the outfit.

Between all the stuff I try to get some quilting and sewing done.
My head is full of ideas but sometimes I'm a bit to slow.

But two little dolly outfit sets are finished and you can find these at ebay.

I try to blog a bit more often now. Super big promise !!

Busy...

It's nearly a month since my last post.
I had big plans to write every day durring our vacation to Japan but as always it didn't work out at all.

We were so busy with shopping and exploring Tokyo that I completly lost track.

Since we are back from vacation I'm busy with finding a job and sewing for the dolls.

I'm super excited when I look at the stuff I brought home.

This time I didn't need to send me a package since we were able to squeeze everything in our suitcases.

I bought a little bit of food and candy.
I really love everything with matcha so I tryed to find as much as I can.

Japan is always famous for their cute clothes.
Sadly I'm not fitting in all the clothes and my feet are to big for their shoes but I found some cute stuff in my size .

I went a bit shopping crazy when it came to fabrics.
But who can resist these prices.
Sadly I wasn't able to buy as much as I want since mostly you had to buy a whole m of fabric.
So I went mostly with pre cut fabrics.
My best find was a used embroidery book from the 80ies for only 105 yen.

For the monster Blythe hats I'm always in need for felt.
Gladly I found some fun colors as well.

Blythe were super cheap while I was there and I found lots second hand ones for perfect prices.
So I went home with 4 neo Blythes and one petite Blythe.

Gladly I found some cheap Liccas too.
I was hoping to find more but I'm quiet happy with the ones I found.

Japan is known for their toys...so of course I brought some home.

With the next little ones I went a bit shopping crazy.
They were only 52 yen each so I bought lots of them.
Not all at one day but every time we went to Akihabara ( and we went there pretty often in the evening to hang around and have dinner) I brought some back to the hotel.

In the next picture you can see some random stuff I bought.

Not pictured are all the gifts I bought for friends and family.

I think I bought lots of stuff and it's so much fun to look at these pics now .

Harajuku & Shinjuku

The last few days had been busy. We were so busy with shopping around. We had a long list and we nearly got everything we want.
On thursday we went to Harajuku. We got up very early and went to the Meiji shrine first. At that point it wasn't crowded so we were able to see a wedding. Sadly it was a bit cold since it was so early so we didn't stay as long as we wanted.
After we left we saw lots of tourists coming so going early was definetly a smart idea.
We took a quick walk to best shopping street in Harajuku. It so amazing and great for people watching. Lots of young japans shop at that place and you can see their amazing style. I got myself two cute skirts. I always want more but having a guy with you for clothes shopping isn't that fun. Of course we went to Kiddyland too but I didn't get anything special. Just a little pen this time. But I do spent lots of money on Daiso...if course .
In the evening we just walked around in Ueno and relaxed.

Yesterday we got up pretty late so we had to skip the breakfast.
We went to Shinjuku to some art supply stores. It was heaven for mr. artistic and I found some great colored pastels for my custom Blythe.

Since we got up so late there was not enough time to do lots in the evening. Just some little candy shopping in our area.

Today we are off to fabric heaven. I hope I will have enough cash for everything.

You can see always more pics at my flickr.

2. Ueno park

Yesterday we woke ip pretty late so we decided to hang around in the neighbourhood only.
Since our hotel is in Uneo we decided to visit the Ueno park first. It was perfect weather and the first little flowers were already there. It must be amazing when the flowers bloom in a few weeks. Dadly we won't be able to see that while we are since we leave earlier.
The weather was so freaking amazing that we had to go to the Ueno Zoo  too see the pig Pandas and the other animals. The zoo is bigger as we expected so we only saw half of the zoo but since the entrance fee is cheap we have to go again next week.
After the zoo we went to Yamashiroya toy store in Uneo.Mr. artistic had a blast since it was his first visit in a japanese toy store. We spent some time there but I just got a little kitty charm for my mobile phone. I nearly bought a middie Blythe but I want to check out the prices in Nakano broadway out first.

Plan for the next day: Harajuku

mr. artistics midnight snack...stupid jetleg

It's 4 in the morning and we are still awake. After traveling around 24 h we can't sleep.
Even the sleepings meds are not helping.

Any adivice for jetleg problems. I never had that problem before.

We were bored so mr. artistic made of us sort of an undercut. My looks really cool and nobody will notice where the spots places on my head were before.

Tomorrow we are going to the Ueno park and of course to the biggest toy store here in Ueno
