Which batting do you use ???



I bought some cheap polyester batting from my local fabric shop last week for the plus quilt.

I tryed to quilt the plus quilt with the poly batting but I failed .

Is it because of the fluffy batting or my terrible quilting skills ?

    It's definitely not you! That kind of batting is really hard to use! I love using warm & white (not sure if you can get it locally in Germany), it is nice and flat and thin. Makes things much easier :)

    i use Freudenberg Vlieseline 277 Volumenvlies. it is all-cotton, turns out quite thin after washing but is very light and good to quilt on. it is not really warm though, but maybe some of their poly-blends are.
    you can get it easily online and at Karstadt i think :-)

    You can also use Freudenberg 275. This is also (like 277) a cotton batting.
    I like that this is shrinking in the washing machine and i get a nice vintage look.
