I need to work harder

I have a holiday plan for this year. I really would love to go to the USA for the first time. But 2011 will be a busy year for us. Mr. artistic will graduate and we have to move to a bigger city. He won't be able to find a job in Göttingen so we have to move to Berlin or Hamburg. The move will be really expensive so I have to use nearly all my savings and of course I need to find a job as well.

I made a "secret" plan to make my USA dream come true. I have to sell 100 handmade things to pay for the flight and hotel. I know it's impossible but we can still dream ?! 

The only thing I was able to finish (because I was very lazy) are some coasters for my home. I need to work harder and be less lazy.

Sports - hate or love ?!

When I was still school I always hated sport. I don't know why but most of my family was not very active when it came to sport. Due to some serious problems (she spend months in the hospital when she was young because of these spine problems) with her spine my mom wasn't able to do a lot of sports and so there was nobody who forced us to dot it (except of my grandpa who always forced me and my sis to go hiking with him when we were still kids).

When I left school I told everybody that from today I won't do any sports in my whole life.

I changed my mind when I became ill with breast cancer. While I still got my cheme treatment I started with jogging and hiking.

Today I try to do sports every week. Last year I was in swimming but right now I enjoy jogging much more because I'm to lazy to rush to the public indoor swimming pool.

I have only one body and I have to care for it. Sport will keep me healthy !!!

the past

Today I met up with 2 old friends from university. We went to a lovely cafe (the same cafe where I always meet for lunch with my friend). We talked for 5 hours about our time at uni and of course about work. We are all social education workers but working/worked in different fields.
Both of them have more passion for their job. I'm just working to pay my bills while the others work because they love what they are doing.

I don't think that I will ever me a passionate social education worker. I have no hope to change the world with my work. I wish I could live from my craft things...but this will be hard because life is expensive. So I try to do the best out of situation. Maybe I will find a job where I can combine the crafty things with my social work.

Tomorrow is monday and I need to go back to the office. I will have 2 apointments with my doctors this week. 

a busy day

I had a really busy day...and I didn't expect to have a packed day like this when I went to bed very early last night.

I woke up really late today. It looks like my body needed extra sleep after that busy week I had.

I got up and I hated how the flat looked like. It was dirty and the kitchen looked like a battle field.

I cleaned the flat and after Mie complained I cleaned the cat toilet too.

I was in cleaning mood so I made the laundry too.

I was still full of power so I decided (after 2 hours in front of the TV) to go jogging for a whileSo I took the car and went to my fave jogging place. It was packed with people but I didn't care because I heard my fave music and enjoyed the rare sunshine.

I went to supermarket (in my jogging clothes) and the people stared at me. But I didn't care because I was in a really good mood.

 I spent a few hours in the kitchen to make a big pot of cabbage soup. It will lastfor a few days and I can bring some of it with at work.

I planed to work on a few bunny bags but Mie had different plans. She slept for a few hours on my lap (she misses mr. artistic) and gave me strange looks when I tryed to put her on the blanket.
